Privacy Policy

If you don't create an account, your resume never leaves your browser. Resume PDFs you import are read on your own device and are never uploaded to us.

If you do create an account, we store your email address, the name you give us, and the resumes you choose to save — nothing else. We don't sell your data, and we don't run advertising on it.

If you use the builder without an account, we collect nothing about you on our servers. Your resume is kept in your own browser's local storage so you can come back to it. Clearing your browser data deletes it, and we cannot recover it.

If you create an account, we store:

• Your email address — to identify your account and send password-reset links.
• The name you enter at sign-up — used only to greet you in the app.
• Your password — stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider. Nobody at Zentrum can read it.
• Resumes you explicitly save — the content you typed, plus your template and formatting choices. Resumes you don't save are never sent to us.

We also keep standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, which page was requested) for security and troubleshooting, and we use these to enforce rate limits on the AI feature.

Resume PDFs are parsed entirely inside your browser. The file is never uploaded to our servers, and we never see its contents unless you go on to save the resulting resume to your account.

When you press one of the “Generate with AI” buttons, we send the short piece of text you typed into that field — a job title, or a list of skills — to Google's Gemini API, which writes the suggestions.

We send only that field. Your name, email, contact details and the rest of your resume are not included in AI requests.

Google processes this under its own terms. We do not use your input to train any model, and we do not retain the request beyond what is needed to return the suggestions to you.

We use three service providers, and no others:

• Supabase — accounts and the database of saved resumes. Data is stored on infrastructure located in the United States.
• Google (Gemini API) — generates AI writing suggestions from the keywords described above.
• Vercel — hosts the site and provides aggregate, non-identifying traffic analytics.

If you are in the UK, EU or another region with data-transfer rules, note that using this service involves transferring your information outside your country.

We set a cookie only to keep you signed in. It is required for accounts to work and is removed when you sign out. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We also use your browser's local storage to hold your in-progress resume and interface preferences. That data stays on your device.

Saved resumes are kept until you delete them or ask us to close your account. Deleting a resume from your dashboard removes it immediately and permanently. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.

• See and edit everything we hold about your resumes from your dashboard, at any time.
• Export any resume as a PDF from the builder — no request needed.
• Delete individual resumes yourself from the dashboard.
• Close your account and have everything associated with it erased by emailing info@zentrumsolutions.com. We action these within 30 days.

Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to processing, request a machine-readable copy of your data, or complain to your local data protection authority. Email us and we will help.

Traffic is encrypted in transit with HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as hashes. Saved resumes are protected by database row-level security policies, so one account cannot read another account's rows even if the application had a bug.

No system is perfectly secure. Please use a password you don't use anywhere else, and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

This service is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

If we change how we handle your information we will update this page and move the “last updated” date above. Significant changes affecting account holders will also be sent by email.
